Endosulfan Alternatives in Latin America

The report entitled El Endosulfán y sus Alternativas en América Latina I y II (Endosulfan and its Alternatives in Latin America I and II), written by members of the Action Network on Pesticides and their Alternatives in Latin America (Red de Acción sobre Plaguicidas y sus Alternativas en América Latina—RAP-AL), illustrates the variety of alternatives to endosulfan beyond the chemical substitution approach that means go beyond chemical pesticides that are less toxic and less persistent, but also agroecological and organic agricultural practices used in growing soybeans, coffee, vegetables, flowers and tobacco in Latin American countries.
