IPEN organizes a yearly general assembly, usually held coincident to a relevant UN negotiating session, to enable us to evaluate our past performance and to plan strategies for meeting IPEN short- and long-term goals.

The theme for this years General Assembly is 'Implementation of the Stockholm Convention at the national level & IPEP: an IPEN Project for implementation'

This November, IPEN has a unique opportunity to convene our annual meeting to parallel two very important UN discussions occurring in Bangkok, November, 2003. The IPEN General Assembly will be held during the two-day (November 7th & 8th) break between Forum IV of the Intergovernmental Forum on Chemical Safety (IFCS) and Prepcom 1 of the Strategic Approach to International Chemical Management (SAICM).
