It is with utmost urgency that we seek your support in blocking a controversy-ridden incinerator project for municipal solid waste in Malaysia, which is described as the largest of this type in Asia and possibly worldwide. Please endorse our Open Letter to Dr. Mahathir Mohamad, Prime Minister of Malaysia, asking him to scrap the project and go for healthy and sustainable alternatives (deadline for endorsement: 19 September 2003).
