The first meeting of the UN Economic Commission for Europe (ECE) Working Group on Pollutant Release and Transfer Registers (PRTR) took place in Geneva, 16-18 February 2004. It was attended by delegations from the 28 Governments, the Commission of the European Community, representatives of UNITAR, UNEP, OECD, REC CEE, Globe Europe, and European NGO coalition ECO-Forum.
