1. Majority of enamel paint samples showed high lead concentrations. Some 86 percent of
enamel paint samples had lead concentrations more than 90 ppm, while 76 percent of enamel
paint samples had lead concentrations more than 600 ppm. The average lead concentration
was 4,108.2 ppm. None of the plastic paint samples had lead concentrations exceeding 90 ppm.
2. Overall, 60 percent of paint samples exceeded the lead concentrations of 90 ppm, and 53
percent exceeded 600 ppm of lead concentrations.
3. The highest concentration of lead was found in a green colour enamel paint sample.
