GEF - Global Environment Fund:



The Global Environmental Facility (GEF) is an independent financial organization that helps fund projects and programs related to biodiversity, climate change, international waters, land degradation, the ozone layer, and persistent organic pollutants. The Stockholm Convention designated the GEF to be the financial institution connected to the Treaty in 2001.
